Alternative Behavioral Management Program

(Birth to 3)

For ASD children and those children who do not meet the Autism Spectrum Diagnostic Criteria. Target clients also include those children with Generalized Intellectual Delays, Trauma Induced Behaviors, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, ACE Children and their families. Just as there are no two children who are the same, there is no “one size fits all” type of approach to behavioral intervention. Even though Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the most traditional treatment option for autism and other behavioral issues funded by school districts, state agencies and insurance companies, it is not for everyone. Many progressive and proven treatment methods have been developed over the past 10 years that give an array of promising options to children with behavioral difficulties that address the fundamental, social processing issues and life skill acquisition barriers that prevent children with ASD or generalized behavioral problems from moving forward in their overall personal and psychological accomplishments. The ETAS Strategies Program provides children and their families a variety of intervention methodologies that are designed uniquely and specifically to each child’s individual need and targets those life skills necessary for attaining a better quality of life as these children grow into adulthood: living independently, holding down a job, developing meaningful social relationships and building supportive networks of friends.

STRATEGIES fills the gap in traditional autism and behavior management services by providing parents, who are looking for a different kind of care.......... sound, effective and practical life solutions.

As a mental health clinician guided program, STRATEGIES offers additional therapy support services for associated behaviors due to sensory processing disorders or verbal communication difficulties.

ETAS is driven to provide the earliest and best behavioral and mental health care possible to young children and their parents to break negative cyclic patterns and to prevent long term consequences. We strive to enable children and their parents to identify their strengths, to discover joyful experiences and to develop new behaviors and attitudes of resilience.
